We are in the process of finalizing a scientific paper titled “Ten Compactness Properties of Circles: A Unified Theoretical Foundation for the Practical Measurement of Compactness”. The paper investigates different properties of compactness of shapes and ways to measure them. We have come across an image of Place Chyarles de Gaulle on your website, which is an excellent illustration of high ‘detour’ compactness.
