Tarja Turunen has just finished the foto shoot for her album artwork in Hamburg, Germany with fotographer Jens Boldt, whose clients are people like Tom Jones, Skunk Anansie and Iggy Pop, Corteney Love, Rage Against the Machine and others.
The results are very surprising! Meet the characters of Tarja’s music:
the dead boy
the doll
the queen of ice
the phoenix
It’ s like a foto story really…. The dead boy (Tuomas, who calls himself that in the most personal Nightwish song he has ever written) makes Tarja a little sweet doll who has to be nice and sing for him. Then they fight and Tarja becomes the ice queen (like he made her appear to be in that unbelievable letter) and after that she rises like phoenix from the ashes with her solo career… 
I don’ t know if it is supposed to mean that, but to me it does plus the “dead boy” – coincidence is a huge one. 
Now, Tarja has travelled to Berlin to work on the video of the song “I walk alone”. Good luck, Tarja!

I found out that quite a few internet forums are linking this post and that discussions are running high about wether or not Tarja offended Tuomas and wheter or not she is allowed to do that. I am greatful for all the attention, but I am at the same time astonished to see how careless people are reading the above. I feel that I made it perfectly clear, that it was my interpretation and that (quote) “I DON’T KNOW IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN THAT” from Tarja’s part. It was just that the “dead boy” struck me immediately and so I wrote that without too much of reflection. I am not going to delete it, because that is taboo in the blogger scene, but I also would like to be able to meet Tarja and not have her spit in my face, because she thinks I spread rumours about her. So I just wanted to make it clear again that I do not represent Tarja’ s opinion in any way and that nobody should be freaking out about those 5 little lines that I wrote. To be honest I thought the same about the song and the way the video is made, the story. It’s all about her and the emotions arround “the letter”, which was – very inapropriat!!
